Welcome to the PA EmComm Network

Mission Empowering amateur radio operators to provide effective communication capabilities to served agencies at times when conventional means of communication are not available.
Publisher The PA EmComm Network is provided as a community service of the Philipsburg Amateur Radio Association ("PARA"), a 501(c)(3) public charity based in Philipsburg, PA, with input from various agencies and radio clubs throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Intended Audience • ARRL Emergency Coordinators at the Section, District, and Local levels.
• Individual radio operators who wish to increase their level of EmComm preparedness.
• EMA Directors at the State, County, and Municipal levels.
• Red Cross Leaders at the Regional and Chapter levels.
Status The website was launched in April 2025 and should be regarded as a pilot project.
Data Gathering Many of the lists provided on this site are not yet fully populated. Data gathering is a difficult and time-consuming task that often requires local knowledge. If you are able to contribute information about local facilities (e.g. shelters) or local machines (e.g. repeaters), send us an email and let us know what kind of info you'd like to contribute. But please don't send your information at this time. In the near future we will be providing data collection forms for this purpose.
